A Little Bit About Me:

My name is Loriann Hamelwright and I have almost 30 years experience playing the piano. I currently accompany my church choir. I also previously played the piano for the children's group (ages 4-11) at my church. In addition to playing the piano, I also play the flute and the organ. I am a member of the Desert Valley Music Teachers Association (DVMTA), which provides performance and award opportunities for students, as well as ongoing teacher training and workshops.  I am located in East Mesa on Crismon & Baseline.

Playing the piano has been so enjoyable for me over the years because I learned to play my favorite songs.   Given this experience, I focus on teaching your favorite music along with the basics such as Theory, Technique and Sight Reading. I currently use the Piano Pronto method book series (www.pianopronto.com).  I also incorporate games and activities into each lesson, keeping students engaged and motivated. I really enjoy sharing my passion for piano and hope to foster a lifelong love of music in my students. I teach students from Age 7 up to Adults. Please check out the rest of my website for more information about my studio and pricing.

I have three young kids and an amazing husband who graciously watches them during lessons.
